Brian felt unsettled after Justin left. He had a lot to think about and he had work to get done. He filed away his thoughts and questions for later. Sitting at his computer he tried to work on his “Blue Springs” account. How was he going to sell a new brand of water and sodas? His mind kept roaming and he unconsciously started to do the exercises that Gus had been taught. Closing his eyes he tried to envision Gus doing his homework. Over and over again he did the exercises and time passed quickly. His mind kept reaching out to hear his son’s thoughts and then listening to see if his son tried to reach him. Concentrating as hard as he could after two hours trying, Brian felt as if someone was in his mind. Gus had responded to a question he was trying to transmit. “Gus, do you want to see Debbie? He specifically didn’t want to think Lindsay or Mel because they would have been too obvious. Gus often talked about seeing his moms. Gus tried to respond to his dad but Brian couldn’t hear him, not yet. He was still blocked so Gus walked over to his father and tapping his shoulder replied. “Dad, can we go see Grandma Debbie? I have been good. I have been trying to tell you but you aren’t open. I heard you in my head. Please Dad, can we?” Brian incredulous looked into Gus’ eyes and knew that Gus was speaking the truth. He could always tell when he lied. Something was always in his eyes and he couldn’t look straight at him.

“Gus, what exactly did you hear in your head?”

“Gus, do you want to see Debbie? I heard it several times in my head. I also then heard you think about my moms but you didn’t want to ask me about them because I have been asking to see them.” Brian nodded. “Yes, I think I can arrange a visit for Debbie to come here. It will be harder for your moms. Mel has some really important cases coming up. I am not sure if your mom could get free of the gallery either on short notice. Why don’t you cal Deb and invite her to visit this weekend. She can stay in the spare bedroom. Tell her I will pay for the plane flight and everything else. I am sure she will love to hear from you, but first why don’t you call Justin and see if he will come back . I have questions.”

“Daddy, I am glad you are open to this. It is a good thing being telepathic. Don’t be afraid of it. Ask him anything. He always answers dad. He isn’t afraid to share.”

At that moment Justin knocked at his door. He had let himself in with the code for the building that Gus had supplied. He had immediately told Justin to come quickly. Dad had questions and he better come before dad changed his mind. Daddy thinks too much.”

Actually, Justin had been monitoring Gus and already knew that Brian was working on Gus’ exercises. Gus had told him that Brian was transmitting. So he had put away his brushes and waited for the summons. He knew it would come but he had originally thought that Brian would take a few days before he was willing to accept this ability. This summons so soon gave him anticipation of things to come. He had hope. Expecting Brian’s stubbornness to kick in, he had figured it would be an upward battle, but he knew Brian to be a strong person who craves perfection in everything. This gift would only enhance that perfection. He would work on what he held dear to guide him to accept things so much sooner. He really wanted Brian.

“That was fast,” Brian said opening the door. Justin stood there in a blue wife beater and jeans with a smile that would make the sun look dim in comparison. The splattered jeans and shirt made Justin look sexier than Marilyn Monroe with her white dress flying or Patrick Swayze naked in Roadhouse. Brian just stood there staring, his groin groaning and expanding from the sight eager and wanting to get out. Justin felt the same way. Each time he saw Brian or thought about him his cock grew in expectation. He had found himself jerking off a lot lately. After a short time, Justin finally broke the silence. “Uh, Brian, you rang.” “Oh, sorry. Come in.” He felt sheepish he hadn’t allowed him entrance. He moved away from the door.

“So Brian, I hear you have a lot of questions.”

“Yes. Could I get you something to drink?”

“Do you have a beer?”

“Yes, and anything harder you might like.” Brian replied while going to the refrigerator to get a cold one for each of them. He meant a lot more than a drink. “Why don’t we sit down while we talk?” He nodded over to a sofa. He sat in a chair that matched the white leather Italian sofa. The chair was comfy cushioned and big enough for two when necessary. All his furniture was sturdy for active sex play. Justin had caught the innuendo and more. His chaise sat in a part of the room where he had a small table with condoms and lube at the ready. Justin had been there earlier and had noted the areas where Brian outwardly showed his sexuality. In the table that was more like a square box with two locked doors were his sex toys. A variety of dildos, vibrators, beads, blindfolds, handcuffs, silk ties, collars, canes, leashes, and other BDSM equipment resided there. Since he became Gus’ custodial parent he had to make sure everything stayed locked, hence the new table/storage area. Condoms were okay out. Those he had explained to Gus. Since he was in New York he had found that he had to be the one for the sex talk and had emphasized safe sex. It was something he had hoped would wait a few more years but his lifestyle necessitated it. He had explained his sexual lifestyle and the need to protect himself so that he would be around a long time for Gus. Gus had understood.

His sexual gratification has diminished. Gus’ needs came first and he really wanted to make sure his boy was happy. Gus had become happier in New York. He was more content because he was accepted by his father and Justin. He wasn’t alone and he wasn’t being barraged with disbelief from his moms who thought he just had an overactive imagination or something. Mel was even more skeptical than Lindsay. Being just one of the guys was good for him too. Brian was a stifled sexual machine that was ready to explode. He hadn’t had a trick in a while worrying about his son. He treated his son with respect. He didn’t play a condescending dad. He understood that a kid had real concerns and they shouldn’t be taken lightly.

Now a man had come into his life that he wanted like no other. He knew if he allowed himself to be free with Justin, it would not be a one-time fling. This man was different whether he was an alien or not. His son seemed to want them together. Gus had talked to him about Justin last night. He had his son’s blessing but was he willing to truly accept such a relationship. Time only held the answer. Right now he had to deal with the present and the present held questions, many questions and the man with the answers was sitting by him waiting, anticipating, wondering what he needed to know first. There was space between them that Brian needed at the moment, space so he could think with his mind not with his groin.

“Brian, take your time. I have all night. The sun was just now going down, the colors of the sunset not as clear in the big city as it was in the suburbs, but it was still beautiful. Justin decided to close his eyes. Maybe if he wasn’t looking at him he would be able to muster the courage to start. It worked. Brian started to speak hesitantly at first, but then more confident. He had found his stride.

“I want to say so much. I never want to say anything about myself but I think you need to know. It is so private. I am so private.” In Justin’s head he heard Gus say, he rarely shares about himself. It seems to actually hurt him when it does. Help him.”
