Getting Started: Everyone's running around in a hurry. Host Jeff Probst has just told all 16 castaways that they have 2 minutes to collect anything they can and get off the boat. Some tribe members stay on the boat and throw items to their fellow castaways waiting in the water below.

This was Tagi's arrival on their beach. From the second they landed, Richard began to bark orders at everyone. Kelly just seemed to be taking it all in stride.

This is the Pagong tribe arriving on their beach. They had a long haul and Gervase was very happy to finally be on land. The trip in took a lot out of Ramona so she just chilled out and relaxed upon arrival.

These pics are the two tribes while getting to know each other a little bit. Tagi was trying to discuss a little strategy about how to play the game and where they were going to set up camp. Sue tried to tell Rich that his corporate ways wouldn't work out on the island. B.B. and Ramona went to look for the water hole.

This was the first immunity/reward challenge. The winning tribe got the coveted immunity idol, plus a pack of waterproof matches. Pagong ended up winning this, sending Tagi to tribal council.

This was the first tribal council. Jeff talked to them about how were their first few days on the island. A total of eight votes were cast. Sonja was the first member voted out by a narrow margin of 1 vote. 4 votes were cast against her, 3 against Rudy, and one for Stacey. Upon leaving Sonja wished them all luck.
