Nick's Final Words

This has been an amazing, amazing experience from start to finish. I'd first like to say thank you to my mother, Pat, my dad, Hank, my brother, Tony, all my friends at school--Deli, Carmen, Cara, Brian, and Naj-for being so supportive. I've had a hell of a time. It's been rough. To last out here a month is no joke. It's been a great adventure. I've had some great times, and some big lows. The last few days have been really rough on me and it'll be good to have a meal, a shower, a shave. I have no regrets whatsoever about coming out and playing hard and playing the game. I always tried to play hard and I always tried to play with a little class, and I hope that's the way that the viewers see it: I played hard and I played with class. But this game isn't for everybody.

If you're going to apply for Survivor 3, make sure you're ready, because surviving out here is real. It's 24/7. The games are fun, the people are good. It's like a family: sometimes you really enjoy the people and sometimes you don't. But it's a great ride and I hope the ride continues for as long as it can last. To make it here from 50,000 people down to the final 7: I have a great sense of pride in doing that, and I hope that people respect the way I played the game, from Day 1 to Day 10 to Day 20, and now to leave on Day 30.

I hope that people respect the way that I tried to play, and played fair, and kept my head high, and I look forward to going home. This game's taught me a lot about my self. My life has been going on such an ideal, amazing path before the game, and to get here and experience this has taught me a lot, not only about my strengths but more importantly my weaknesses. I kind of feel invincible at times, and Survivor has been a big reality check for me. It's taught me what I can take and what I can't take.
