SpongeBob Dictionary
| Tarter sauce/fish paste/barnicles- | An exclamation. They all usually mean something relating to "darn". the most commonly used of all these is "tarter sauce". Example: "Oh tarter sauce/fishpaste/barnacles, I fogot my nametag at my pineapple! |
| Speckildorked- | This is a word that was made by SpongeBob. It means bamboozled, dooped or tricked. Example: "That's a fake inspector! We've been speckildorked! |
| Mercible Neptune- | Mercible Neptune is a saying that is used when you are groaning, unhappy or hesitant about something. It's like saying "Neptune have mercy", and Neptune is the undersea god. I think you get the picture. Example: "Mercible Neptune! Not the Seven Trails of Monkey Lagoon!" |
| Scallops flying out of my pants- | "Scallops flying out of my pants" is a sarcastic comparison comment. It's used in situations where you don't think things will happen, or when you used to think that thing will happen, but you realized it was unlikely. Example: "Maybe Plankton's gone straight...or maybe scallops are flying out of my pants! |
| Holy-Krabby Patties/oil spill/sea cow | All these you used when you are surprised or amused. They are just like saying "holy cow". Example: "Holy Krabby Patties/oil spill/sea cow, it's the Dirty Bubble!" |
| Hoppin' clams | Hoppin' clams is used when you're surprised, but usually in a positive way. Like something good just happened that you didn't expect to. It can also be used when you are excited about something. Example: "Hoppin' clams! The oyster's a mother!" |
| Coral | Coral is another way of saying "cool", only it's the "in" way of saying it: if you say "cool" underwater, you're usually considered old. Example: "I have some completely coral concepts to turn this worn-out wagon into a teenage paradise!" |
| Jellyfishing | Jellyfishing is a very popular underwater sport, and is one of SpongeBob's and Patrick's favorite pastimes. In order for citizens to jellyfish, towns like Bikini Bottom lay aside a section for jellyfish to live, making it easier for the jellyfishers. In jellyfishing, jellyfishers have a net (it resembles a butterfly net) that is used to catch a jellyfish, usually temporary for something like getting jelly or for pure fun. |
| Hooky | Hooky is the act of playing on fisherman's hooks. You ride on them or eat their free cheese until you start going up, then you let go and float down before you go too high. It is a very risky game for undersea folk: if things go wrong and you get hooked, you could spend the rest of your self in a can that smells like mayonaisse *scream*! |
| The Invisible Boatmobile | The Invisible Boatmobile is Mermaidman and Barnacleboy's car. Back in the old days Barnacleboy wanted to paint it black, Mermaidman insisted that all the cool superheroes did invisible. And so now in the parking lot they have to spend periods of time searching for their invisible super-car. |
| Snail-Po | Snail-Po is a company that sells food to snails under the same name. Snail-Po is the brand the SpongeBob has fed Gary for years. We don't know how it tastes to snails, but, according to SpongeBob, it tastes horrible. |
Triple Gooberberry Sunrise  |
The Triple Gooberberry Sunrise is just one of the thousands of ice cream sundaes served at Goofy Goober's Ice Cream and Party Boat. It is a large sundae that consists of different types of ice cream and candies, topped with a banana and fudge. It is in the shape of a person...or goober. You don't want to eat too many of these guys though...and not because you'll get fat. At the left is a picture of SpongeBob and Patrick with half-finished Triple Gooberberry Sunrises. |
