Episode 6.15 I Dream of Phoebe

Well, I can't say I hated this episode, because I loved it. The interaction between the different characters were great, Phoebe even managed to throw in some funny lines here and there, and best of all, that genie outfit didn't make her expose so much skin to point where she was wearing "the pants" in "Lucky Charmed". Ugh, those memories bring back bad times. Oh, and of course, how could I forget? Piper and Leo were just so frickin' cute. And I guess sort of bringing Piper and Leo closer together made an entry way for them to be doing what they're doing in "The Courtship of Wyatt's Father".

1. Paige and Richard

Okay, I've said this before, but I hate hate hate how they are trying to rid Paige of all her lovers. Farewell, thou Richard. Tis' a pain to see such a wonderful character leave. Sniffle, sniffle, sniffle. Damn, I hate crying, but I can't stop. Paige and Richard were doing so well together until the writers just decide, "Paige shouldn't be with Richard," and just dump their love in the trash can like they did with Piper and Leo. I hate that.

2. Phoebe and Chris

Sometimes I wanna kick Phoebe or Chris, but this episode, I had no intention of doing that whatsoever. Alyssa did a much better job than she had in previous episodes as portraying a genie. Phoebe managed to throw out a few funny lines, and the interaction between these two were great.

Chris: Feel better now?
Phoebe: Yes.
Chris: Will you help me?
Phoebe: No.

That made me smile. It was also kind of funny when Paige and Piper were laughing at Phoebe when she was a genie, and when Piper's line of, "Do I need to call Chris to shut you up?" and then Phoebe's reply of, "You wouldn't." and Piper's immediate reply of, "Keep pushing me." Holly and Alyssa do great in those kind of scenes. Anyway, getting back on topic, I was overjoyed when I read spoilers that Phoebe and Chris would be getting Piper and Leo back together. I mean, two characters that need upgrading, and this is the perfect way to do that!

3. Piper and Leo

Aww, these two were so cute when they were sleeping together on the couch. When they woke up, it kind of annoyed me that they were immediately provoked to get away from each other, but I can understand that they would be a little confused if they found each other in each others arms, yet they were divorced. I still liked it that Leo saving Piper brought them a little bit closer. It's like, inch by inch, they're feelings for each other grow stronger.

I love you, Piper, but I cannot believe that you are so obsessed with Greg. I mean, you weren't obsessed with Leo when you were dating or married to him. Okay, maybe you were, but it wasn't like a desperate sexual feeling to get to him. It was more like a sweet feeling. I was practically throwing a party when I saw that hurt look on Greg's face. Heh, I ain't feeling any sympathy for him. Nope.

Leo looked kind of sad when he said, "She's out on a date." He's trying to hide it, but he's also trying to deal with it and be as happy as he can for Piper. Keep going, Leo!

Other Notes and Nitpicks

• The title of this episode refers to the 1960s sitcom "I Dream of Jeannie".
• Unlike the genie that appeared in "Be Careful What You Witch For", Jinny was not released from her bottle after she granted three wishes.
• When Leo is supposedly reading the Arabic on Jinny's bottle, he is turning the bottle so that he is reading from left to right, but Arabic is read from right to left.
• When Chris dropped the bottle when the thieves attacked at the manor, why didn't Paige call for the bottle so that Jinny, or Richard, could not steal it?
• In Richard's mansion, when the bottle is knocked down to it's side, Phoebe is able to escape, however the bottle was knocked down plenty more times earlier in the episode and neither Jinny nor Phoebe were able to get out.
• How is Leo able to keep Piper from dying by healing her? Jinny wished the Charmed Ones dead, not mortally injured. There was no wound for Leo to heal and since Leo cannot heal the dead, how did he heal her?

Best line of the episode: "Mom and dad need to screw, or I'm screwed." - Chris
Worst dressed of the episode: Phoebe

Once again, I don't think it's really fair to say that Phoebe was the worst dressed. The only reason I think she was worst dressed was because she had to wear those ugly and ridiculous pantaloons. The match that she wore in the beginning of the episode was okay, though.

Why do girls get all skimpy when it comes to things like this, and notice that Richard didn't? He looked fine throughout the episode.

Piper looked pretty. Again, some of the clothing she wore is just hiding her pregnancy, so once she delivers, she'll be our normal best outfit Holly again.

I liked that green blouse Paige wore. The green went with the black pants she was wearing. Although, she looked kind of adult-like in that clothing.

Leather jacket for Chris. BAD ASS! Okay, I wish Piper would wear those more often, but Chris looked great in those. Leo looked fine, too, although I prefer his hair spiked.
