Ranch life is hard work
But the brothers loved it
They rarely had time to sit
But when they did, they played hard.
They branded, fenced and chased cattle
All day they sat on their mount
While the cattle they count
All the time, loving the land.
The land was dusty and dry
Eating away at their very core.
But still wanting more
From dawn to dusk, the work is never done.
Adventures they all have had
From mines to lumber camps
To family mishaps and saddle tramps
They enjoyed each other and their lives.
In whatever they did
They did it with pride
The ranch land they did ride
And the family they did love.
