David Boreanaz
David Patrick Boreanaz was born on May 16th 1971. He decided he wanted to be an actor when he was seven years old and saw Yul Brynner in “The King and I”. He went to Ithaca college and then moved to Hollywood.
He has done theater, commercials and smaller parts in TV and movies. In 1993 he guest starred in one episode of “Married…With Children”, where he played Kelly Bundy’s boyfriend.
In 1997 David got the part of Angel/Angelus on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer”, where he became so popular he got his own spin-off series “Angel” in 1999.
About the character Angel: “He’s got great clothes.”
Fun Facts:
- In 1996 a talent agent saw him walking his dog Bertha Blue, and thought he’d make a perfect Angel.
- David was married to Ingrid Quinn between 1997-1999.
- Used to dress up like an executive, in order to get into studio lots, where he’d hand out resumes.
- Enjoys playing basket ball, bungy and skiing.
- Plays the harmonica.
