Clare Wren as Rachel Dunne

CLARE WREN portrays the beautiful, mysterious house mother, Rachel Dunne. Hired by Teaspoon, the arrival of the earthy, yet calculating Rachel immediately piqued the interest of the riders. She filled the mother hen role left by the rider's first housekeeper, the much-beloved Emma.

Rachel's entry into the Sweetwater family wasn't as smooth as she hoped it would be. First, Lou wasn't very accepting because she missed Emma; second, the riders' "glands" started acting up at the sight of the beauty in their midst.

Like the former housekeeper, Rachel also has a "checkered past." Apparently, she spent sometime with a riverboat gambler named Roger and was a recovering alcoholic. But later on, she got married to Henry Dunne who unfortunately got killed. Rachel managed to shoot a man while trying to defend her husband She also lost her baby. Later on the ghosts from her past arrive in Sweetwater and the riders find out that she is charged with murder. They help her out, of course, after hearing her story.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Clare was raised in Texarkana, Arkansas, with three brothers, a pianist mother and a doctor father. Growing up, spent time in Central America with her family while her father was on medical missionary trips. As a youth, Clare participated extensively in gymnastic competitions, living and training at the prestigious "Olympia Training Center" in Louisiana. After injuring her knee in a competition during her senior year of high school, Clare was propelled to seek alternatives for her future. That fall, she was accepted at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas where she spent her first year on crutches, recovering from extensive knee surgery. While at SMU, Clare became heavily involved in theater, and ended up graduating from the Professional Acting Program along with a degree in psychology. After college, she moved to Los Angeles to further pursue her acting career. Clare has a daughter named Georgia with actor William Russ (who appeared as Roger in the YR episode Daisy).
