Paris' and Rory's friendship started at Chilton. Paris hated Rory simply because she was the new girl and Rory might beat her at being the smart kid. Paris and Rory bonded over their public humilations about their private lives, and from there they have had a weird (to say the least) relationship. After high school, both Paris and Rory ended up going to Yale. Paris requested to share a dorm with Rory, and then surprised Rory when she came to move in. While Paris is very blunt, and stright forward, she really does mean well...most of the time. She is a favorite among secondary characters, simply because she has so many angles, you never know what will come next.
