Inevitabilities
By the Goddess D

He asked once what frightens me; and I, tempted to free the cold clawing hunger
that tears my skin from bone, could tell of blood-soaked dreams keeping me at
knife's point, thus emptying myself of the deep burning stars that laugh at my
desire for wings to sweep us away.

He, never understanding, would hope his love is enough.

Perhaps it is.

So instead I remain silent, only smile and ease my finger down his smooth chest,
feel the hitch in his breath as my hand tickles those surprisingly straight,
wiry hairs. My breath catches as well, to feel how very hot the hard length of
him feels cupped in my palm.

I press harder, and hold up his moans as a shield against the inevitabilities
ahead.
