Dominance
by Mihreia
Xander looked from one vampire to the other with clear apprehension,
his anger still boiling hot. Spike was still wearing that crazy grin,
while the younger vampire was suddenly eyeing Xander as if he was
thinking that it wasn't actually such a bad offer. This was so not
good. What the hell had Spike been thinking?
{Oh, something like 'let's throw Xander to the lions and sneak out
quietly while he's getting raped.' A fine example of vampire logic,
there.}
But Xander was surprised how much it actually hurt to hear Spike
dismiss him so easily. He'd thought the blonde kind of liked him.
Those words pretty much nixed that fantasy though. And now his throat
constricted painfully and his chest felt as if a demon had fallen on
top of him. Again.
Xander frowned. And why would this hurt so much? He hadn't even felt
like this when Cordelia broke up with him on valentine's day. And
that event had led to vengeance and wacky love spells and women going
crazy all over town. But if Xander was honest he had to admit that
the date had done more to upset him than the actual break-up.
And what did it say about him that he liked Spike more than Cordelia,
who had pretty much been his most meaningful relationship?
{I am so not going there!}
"You, not gay? I don't think so, Xanny. You can't fool me. I'm you,
remember?"
Xander focused on his surroundings again, and noted with considerable
shock that the other Xander had somehow crossed the room, and was now
sitting on his bed.
{Okay, dead guy, that's close enough.} Xander scooted as far away
from the dark-haired vampire as he could possibly get and not leave
the bed.
{'Cause it would really not be a good idea to stand around in boxers
with two fully clad vampires in the room. Can we say 'victim'?}
"Yeah, well. It's none of your business who I have sex with. And I'm
certainly not having sex with you! It's... icky."
The vampire's eyebrows rose, and he chuckled. "Icky, he says. I can
think of some better words to describe this."
And then he started crawling cat-like towards Xander, who couldn't
keep his eyes off of the slowly advancing vampire.
"Interesting."
There were humorous twinkles in those dark eyes, and Xander wondered
if his own eyes ever looked so deep and starry.
"Naughty."
Slowly inching closer until Xander could almost feel the vibrations
in the air on his lips as the vampire version of himself spoke.
"Sexy."
A soft hiss and then soft lips touched his own, and Xander somehow
forgot the freakiness of kissing himself. Because there were teeth
softly biting at his lips, and there were lips slanted against his
own and there was a cool wet tongue in his mouth.
And suddenly there was nothing but air. Which, granted, he did need,
but not right now and not yet. Something collided with his legs, and
next to him the mattress dipped suddenly. At the sound of growling he
opened his eyes with a sharp pang of fear.
{What if he decided to just kill me? Not-chipped vampire here, even
if he is me.}
The sight that greeted him wasn't what he had been expecting though.
Spike and vampire Xander were lying right next to him on the bed, the
younger vampire snarling and growling under the older one. Spike had
a firm grip on the younger man's wrists, and was pinning him to the
bed with the rest of his body.
The blonde raised an eyebrow at his captive.
"You didn't think I'd actually let you fuck my Xanpet, did you?" He
smirked at the angry yellow eyes looking up at him. Then the blonde
winked sideways at where Xander was lying next to them. "At least not
before I've had a go of it."
And suddenly Xander was glad he was still lying under the sheets,
because his cock was definitely paying attention to that little
titbit of information.
{This is not happening. I am not lusting after the bleached wonder.
I'm not!}
His cock throbbed in denial of his words.
{Oh yeah, that'll convince him.}
His embarrassment turned to anger, as he watched the older vampire
lower his head towards the younger and bite him savagely on the neck.
He'd read enough about vampires in Giles' books that he recognised a
claim of dominance when he saw it. And he was not happy about that
for good reason.
{The bastard planned this! He deliberately sent a homicidal maniac
after me to distract him enough that Spike could make him submit
without any trouble.}
But there was a part of him that admired the cunning move as good
tactic on the part of a fellow hunter. The same part that was
growling in slowly growing rage that both vampires clearly saw him as
nothing more than the prize in a game with two players.
And the hunter in Xander was not having any of that.
Had the vampires been paying attention to him in stead of to
eachother, they would have seen green flecks appear in his brown eyes.
Xander smiled.
