The Hunter
by Mihreia

Spike slowly released the growling vampire under him. The blonde knew
this wouldn't be the last time he would have to assert his dominance
over the young one. Probably sometime tomorrow or the day after. In
Alex's eyes his surprise attack hadn't been a real challenge, and
wouldn't be counted as such.

Spike smiled. He'd known as much before he started this however. He'd
done it with a different purpose in mind. Two, really. The first was
that he now had an accurate feeling about the younger vampire's
strength. Spike was definitely stronger. But it would be a challenge
keeping this one in line. The second was to teach him that he
shouldn't underestimate Spike's cunning.

{This is going to be bloody great fun! No more dallying about town
hoping to run into a demon to bash up, just because I'm so bloody
bored. Let the Slayer and her boy-toy handle those wankers! One
of 'em might get a lucky shot in one of these days and kill them.}

The dark-haired vampire slowly lost his game face, admitting defeat
for the moment to his stronger opponent.

"So, I take it you won, huh?" A cheerful voice rang out from beside
him. Spike lost his own game face as he turned to the third person in
the bed. Soddin' Hell! He'd almost forgotten about the whelp.

Xander's eyes shone with amusement, and he had this goofy grin on his
face, that should have made him look ridiculous, but somehow always
managed to make him look innocent and sexy as hell at the same time.
And Spike had yet to find the demon that didn't want to sweep the boy
up and rid him of that innocence.

{No bloody wonder Xapper's a demon-magnet.} He paused. {Of course,
I'm the only dolt barmy enough to want to pull him to the ground and
fuck the life out of him in stead of using some less pleasant way to
destroy his purity.}

Something hard pushed against his right inner thigh, and Spike
watched as the other vampire squirmed under him in obvious
discomfort. The younger man never took his eyes off his double,
though. The blonde smirked

{Or maybe not.}

"That's right, pet, I did. Wanna give me a reward?" He baited the
mortal, sure that 'I'm-not-gay' Harris would never fall for it. Nope,
if he ever wanted to get anywhere with his Xanpet he would have to
seduce him slowly. Make him want it, before he tried anything.

{Shouldn't be too difficult. The whelp's literally soaking in
arousal.} And it wasn't the vampire version's scent, because vampires
bloody well smell different than humans.

"I think I could come up with something." The young man replied,
still smiling, and to Spike's great shock Xander leaned forward and
captured Spike's lips in a heated kiss.

A mouth, hotter than a furnace. Lips so full and soft, all filled up
with blood. Which was ever so tempting, but this was not a time to
experiment with chip limitations. Not the first time. But he would
get there eventually. Tongues met and fought to be the first to
explore strange territory.

And then hands were gliding over Spike's shirt, leaving damp trails
of heat that cooled in seconds. Leading ever downwards, until they
dipped behind the restriction of his jeans.

{Never thought it'd be this easy. Too bad really. I like a good
chase.}

Then the hands suddenly gripped his jeans firmly and used the grip to
push him back down harshly. Spike's eyes flew open, and he saw Xander
grin at him evilly just before the weight of a warm body literally
fell on top of him, eliciting a grunt from the unfortunate vampire
that was still lying underneath Spike.

The blonde was too surprised to do anything when the dark head moved
down as fast as was humanly possible and blunt teeth tore into his
neck. He could just clamp down on his cry of pain, but it did turn
into a moan, as a warm tongue licked up the blood that came to the
surface.

Xander sat back up slowly, and Spike could do nothing but watch in
stunned fascination as the mortal licked his lips clean of the last
traces of blood.

"Let's make this clear once and for all, Spike. I'm not a vampire!
You're not the boss of me! If you want to take me up the ass, you can
just use his." Xander smiled lopsidedly. "After all, he is me." The
mortal cocked his head and looked curiously past Spike to the younger
vampire, his eyes apparently lingering on the bite-mark covering his
double's throat. "And if I'm not mistaken, you are the boss of him."

That said, Xander stood up and winked at the two vampires. "Now if
you'll excuse me, I have to go take care of something." And he walked
towards the bathroom, not even trying to conceal the straining
erection in his dark boxers. Spike watched after his retreating
figure until the door closed behind him.

"Bloody Hell!"

{Had that been his nummy? Where had the awkward babbling whelp with
the self-confidence issues gone? Not that he disliked this version. A
dominating Xander was bleedin' intoxicating.}

Oh, Spike had seen glimpses of Xander's stronger side now and again,
mostly during fights. In fact, he had found it a perverse pleasure
trying to coax the hunter out from behind the goofy, lonely puppy
boy, but he certainly hadn't expected this.

"You can say that again. He's a lot more like me than I thought."
Alex chuckled in his ear, obviously amused that the bad ass master
vampire had been beaten at his own game.

Spike moved over so he wasn't lying on top of the younger vampire
anymore and looked him in the eye. He couldn't summon up any anger at
the apparent disrespect. Hell, it had been funny! And arousing. He
smiled at the more evil copy of his own Xander lying beside him, who
had the same lopsided smile on his face Xander had sported moments
ago. Which begged the question...

"You mean, you as before or you as a vampire?" He asked, serious
again.

Alex raised his eyebrows. "As a vampire. I would never even have
dreamed about doing anything like that when I was still mortal. Of
course, in those days I didn't even know vampires existed." The
younger vampire glanced at the closed bathroom door. "You think
something is wrong with him?" He even sounded worried for someone he
had met just minutes ago.

{He knows Xander better than you do, you wanker!}

"Can't say. The whelp's pretty resilient, and the hunter in him comes
out sometimes. But never that clearly that I know of. It's...
neat."
Spike said with a grin, finally deciding he wouldn't mind if Xander
grew a bit of backbone. He could always trust his pet to stay
unpredictable.

Alex shrugged. "So we watch him for weird stuff." Then he smiled up
at Spike mischievously. "Now for something more important. How are we
going to get him to join us in bed? I wanna know what it's like to
fuck a human. I'd bet he'd be hot."

Spike smirked at him and kissed him playfully on the nose. "Let's
discuss that, shall we?"
