Pesky Morals
by Mihreia

"We should go out."

A voice suddenly interrupted the game show the vampires and mortal
were watching in a bit of a stupor. Two of them blinked and looked at
the third, still processing the information after an exciting evening
of being brainwashed.

Spike raised an inquiring eyebrow at the younger vampire, but before
he could reply Xander stepped in first in a highly suspicious tone of
voice.

"You don't want to go out so you can kill people, do you? 'Cause in
that case I'm staying right here on my comfy sofa." And he petted the
sofa as if it was some sort of cute and obedient pet. Spike snorted
with barely held laughter. As if they really needed to go outside to
be able to kill people.

{Right. Didn't kill Harris Senior, did we? But he bloody well isn't
going to bother anyone for a while.}

It had been pretty amusing seeing a vampiric Xander teach his father
a bit of a lesson. The two vampires had reluctantly agreed to keep
the bastard alive for their mortal lover however. Xander might want
to do something about the guy personally when he was finally turned,
somewhere down the line.

{We wouldn't want to deprive the boy of all the fun, now would we?}

Of course, since neither vampire wanted to lose their cuddly warm sex-
toy, they weren't too eager to turn him just yet. But Spike had no
intention of letting his Xanpet die of old age, so it was only a
matter of time until he did. And when Xander became a vampire, he'd
be pissed if he didn't get the chance to kill his family.

Spike had promised himself he'd turn the boy, as soon as he got the
damn chip out of his brain! The friggin' thing had protested at times
during the whole Alex versus The Bad Dad debacle. Well, Spike learnt
easily enough that if he just watched the proceedings, and didn't try
to invent his own mental variations he was safe from large chomping
headaches.

According to Alex killing his own da was the best thing he'd done in
his unlife. He kept waxing lyrical about his great torture techniques
all afternoon, after they finally finished their little game with
Xander's da. And Spike had to admit it had been fun listening to a
happily bouncing vampiric Xander talking about blood and gore with
all the enthusiasm his twin put in descriptions of chocolate
munchies, or vampire slaying.

Bounce, bounce. Babble, babble. Both looked equally sexy with that
excited glint in their dark eyes, and it was only the subjects they
talked about that made the difference.

It again reminded Spike that eventhough he thought of Alex as being a
completely different person than Xander, they were really the same
boy. They shared sixteen years of memories, and unlike some wankers
tried to convince people the basic personality didn't change when a
human was turned. Soul or no soul. Bloody poof of a nancy-boy sire
and his crush on the dimwit slayer be damned!

Spike returned his attention to the argument being held beside him on
the couch. Alex grinned at his mortal double, waggling his eyebrows.

"Oh, can I kill somebody? Can I, can I, please? I'll make it worth
your while." The young vampire lowered his tone seductively. Xander
just stared at him with a small frown on his face, that made Spike
want to lean over and kiss it until it disappeared.

The mortal shivered. "That... is a disturbing thought." Spike looked
the younger vampire in the eyes, scowling.

{What are you doing, mate? I thought we agreed Xapper's not ready for
that. Why the friggin' hell else did I go through all that trouble
last night to get him into bed without him seeing you?}

Alex just gave the blonde a reassuring grin, which turned into a
smirk when he looked at his double.

"Yeah, but I had you thinking about it."

{Bloody Hell, he did, didn't he?}

Maybe it would be easier to rid Xander of this whole imagined incest
thing than he had first thought. Spike laughed and put in his little
contribution to the corruption of Xander Harris.

"Right. Not to forget the little episode between you two last night.
You can't say you didn't enjoy it, pet." He smirked.

Xander rolled his eyes. "Sure. As if I can really think about morals
with a naked vampire lying on my bed, not to mention the part where I
had my cock down another guy's throat." Ooh, and there was such a
pretty blush crawling over his cheeks. He looked pretty
biteable. "And besides, I didn't see him before my brain turned to
mush."

Alex put his arm around the other man's shoulder and squeezed just a
bit in a at the same time threatening and comforting gesture. "You'll
get used to me, eventually, Xanny." Xander smiled back a bit uneasily.

{Okay, enough with the moral debate. Let's go kill something!}

Spike stood up and clapped his hands. "Well, let's go out then. Find
some demons to beat up. A good ole night out on the Hellmouth!"
Anything better than sitting in the basement. Yeah, okay, having
great sex would be even better, but they didn't want to squick the
boy too easily. Pesky thing, morals. But Spike was confident that he
and Alex would be able to persuade Xander to see things their way.

The younger vampire stood up, pulling Xander up as well, and
practically bounced towards the stairs. Xander dragged along half-
heartedly, and finally the less soul-filled version sighed and turned
towards him.

"Okay, Xanny, I won't kill anybody. But I really want to explore the
town. This is so not my Sunnydale, and I'll probably live here from
now on. So, I'd like to know what else lives inside the borders,
okay?" Big imploring dark eyes looked into identical narrowed
hesitant ones.

Finally the younger vampire sighed. "Okay. We can go hunt and kill
some vamps, I guess. But no killing of humans!" He said, trying to
sound firm. Spike tilted his head inquisitively. There was something...
off about the way the young man said that. It nagged at his brain.
Spike shook his head in irritation, dislodging the thought.

Then he grinned, and put his arms around the two nearly identical
beauties in front of him. Both of them jumped a bit in surprise, and
that made the blonde grin even wider.

"Come on, let's have some bloody fun then!"
