Ares is Kevin Smith

He is Xena's biggest fan and constant pursuer, a suave, handsome Greek God who instignates violence in all mankind, and thrives on conflict in its many forms. There are some who believe this imposing lord of warfare is the true father of the Warrior Princess, that only he could have sired so fierce a spirit. Half brother to Hercules, Ares has shown little respect for the royal family of Olympus, even saving Xena's daughter so that Xena could kill his sister.
