Dressed in makeshift battle gear that is just a little comical, Joxer throwes himself into dangerous situations with impulsiveness. He first appeared as a potential soldier for Callisto, but she knew better. Impressed by Xena, and smitten by Gabrielle, Joxer frequently joins them on their adventures.
