Armageddon Now Part 2
I'm not going to bother doing a review of part 1, as Lucy and Renee aren't in it.
Hope's voice is very different from Renee's now. You'd think they would have gotten Renee to do the voice.
Kevin Sorbo is MUCH better looking as the Sovereign. I love that beard!

Iolas says Hercules will become the most famous hero in history.
When people know Xena the Conqueror is coming, they pack up and leave town in a hurry!
Xena the conqueror wears blue and black armor…it looks very thick.
And she's wearing pants!
She has gauntlets that cover her from wrist to all the way above her elbow.
She is one brutal, ruthless leader!
And Ares is very welcome in her command tent.
She tells the visiting king, "You'll have to work on your groveling", after she kicks him in the face.
Ares talks of the possibility of a champion coming forward to challenge her.
Xena replies "That would make it more interesting. Of course, I'd only have to kill him or her."
She pronounces each syllable distinctly in "interesting".
And I like the way she considers a challenger could be man or woman.
She sits rather unladylike with her legs all akimbo.
Xena throws the Chronos Stone onto a pile with lots of other jewels, only declaring, "I hate uninvited guests."
She ordered a king killed…now that's power!
When Xena's giving the order to attack, it is done so we see what Hercules sees in the scary bowl. Xena's voice makes her sound even wickeder, almost like a witch.
Callisto really, REALLY makes an effort to save her family.
She clutches her hands together and holds them to her face in horror. So unlike the Callisto we normally see.
This Xena wears her sword on her back…I would have expected her to wear it at her hip.
She throws her chakram at Iolas and he deflects it with a shield. How is that possible?
Xena- "Nice move. Who taught you that?"
Iolas- "You did."
When did that happen?
Xena tries to kill Iolas with a dagger, then her chakram, then and a staff.
Xena tells Iolas she doesn't have any friends. I believe her.
Iolas: I know all about you.
Xena: Most people do; I'm a legend.
Iolas: Yeah, well, most people don't know about the birthmark on your CENSORED."
I believe the censored word is t-t.
Xena seems really curious to know if Iolas can see the future. She must be missing Alti.
When Iolas tells Xena she could be a hero, she replies sarcastically, "A hero huh. Maybe I'll even find my true love." Yep, Xena has definitely given up on love.
She is SO wicked in this format!
How did Iolas know about Solan? He shouldn't have known.
Xena actually lets her defenses down when her name is called, giving Iolas the chance to escape.
Xena tells her men to get the women and children out of Cirra; "We're going to waste this town."
But when her men are attacking, you can hear the order "Burn it!" given in a man's voice.
Callisto kills her own father! Then, when her mother goes after her, she torches her! Now, THAT's cold!
Why does young Callisto have blue eyes?
Xena the Conqueror has the known world under her power, Rome, Greece, Chin, Gaul…all of it.
She also has her profile on a big gold coin.
Xena as the Conqueror has crucified bodies as far as the eye can see.
She must have really liked the Oriental trappings in Chin.
It seems odd to me that Xena would allow herself to be carried in to the courtyard. Just doesn't seem to be her style.
The headdress and gown she has on is pretty amazing! It looks expensive and uncomfortable.
Xena: What is her crime?
Gabrielle: I spoke.
Gabrielle's hair is crimped…I kinda like it.
And it looks redder than usual.
Her eye makeup is darker than usual.
Xena looks like she's going to check Gabs' teeth!
Xena the Conqueror says, "The cure for spirit is fear; you'll serve as an example; put her on the cross."
And then the dreaded "Break her legs!"
Ares sure does love Xena…"Xena? Just the sound of her name excites me! Cruel, heartless, merciless, Xena. Why would you wanna stop her?"
Iolas has a bit of a belly in this one.
Xena gets bored watching two gladiators duke it out.
She's not happy until she gets to give the signal to kill.
Why does Xena just sit on the throne and shout "Get him"? Shouldn't she jump into the fray?
I really liked getting to know Xena the Conqueror, but I would have preferred it if she had appeared on X:WP. She wasn't in this episode enough. Still, it was interesting!
