Norman Smiley defeated Jimmy Hart with Brian Knobs -Smiley came to the ring in a football uniform. Hart came to the ring in body armor. Hart threw powder in Smiley’s face. Smiley began to scream, while Brian Knobs attacked him. Smiley avoided a suicide splash and got the pin.
Backstage, Mike Tenay interviewed Curt Hennig. Hennig said he was promised a contract by the Powers That Be if he could beat Goldberg.
Backstage, Kimberly found Terry Taylor and asked about David Flair; The Outsiders arrived with Nash dressed as Sid.
Backstage, Mike Tenay interviewed Spice, Chae and Storm. Spice said that AC Jazz had backed out of the fight and she was now the leader of the Nitro Girls. Tygress then appeared and attacked Spice.
Outsider interview. Hall told Nash he was as stupid as he looked. Nash then insulted Sid. Sid entered. He said Hall would lose his Tournament match tonight, and challenged Nash to a match. Sid called Nash a shell of a man.
Backstage, Booker T told Mike Tenay when Midnight strikes it will be all over for Creative Control; Kimberly approached the office of the Powers That Be, one of the members of Creative Control went to tell The Powers That Be that she was there while the other checked her out. Kimberly was not interested.
Kimberly was in the office of the Powers That Be. He was telling her that she had a match tonight against Aysa; he then told Creative Control to take care of Booker T; Nash then showed up as Sid.
Backstage, Chavo told Booker T that he had what he needed.
Creative Control defeated Booker T -Booker T took early control. The Powers That Be controlled most of the match with team work. Booker T executed the Harlem Sidekick, and a missile dropkick from the top rope, but the count was broken. Creative Control then did a double slam for the pin. The lights then went out. When they came on, his valet, Midnight, was in the ring. She and Booker T cleared the ring.
The First Family were in the locker room arguing; Goldberg arrived.
In the Powers That Be office, Creative Control were chastised for getting beat by a woman. He told them to get Torrie and the luchadores.
Evan Karagias with Madusa defeated Johnny Boone Madusa did commentary during the match. Madusa said she was there to support her man. The two slugged it out for the first moments of the match. Madusa distracted Boone, and allowed Karagias to get the pin.
The luchadores were in the Powers That Be office. Juvi arrived late with a piñata. The Power That Be told the luchadores that he was going to hand the piñata over the ring and put a check for $10000 in it. They would fight for it.

Backstage, Creative Control is looking for Torrie.
Silver King, Villano V, El Dandy, Psychosis, and Juventud Guerrera went to a No Contest in a Pinata on a Pole match. -The piñata fell from the pole early in the match. Dr. Death approached the ring with the JR imitator. JR went to the announce table and introduced Dr. Death. He then started to call the match. He told Tony to speak in sound bites. He kept calling out one word descriptions, and talked about football. Juvi started to break the piñata when Dr. Death entered and cleared the ring. Dr. Death took the check.
Backstage, Mike Tenay interviewed Goldberg. He said he didn’t care about Curt Hennig or The Powers That Be. He said tonight would be a reality check.
Backstage, Nash as himself, said he was back. He said now that Hall was back it was fun again. He said he was going get Sid.
Goldberg defeated Curt Hennig by disqualification -The match started in the back. They fought through the halls. The bell sounded when they made there way to the ring area. When they got back in the ring, Hennig started to go after Goldberg’s knee. Hennig beat on Goldberg until he began to Hulk up. He put Hennig in a submission hold on the leg and got the victory. Goldberg then Jackhammered Hennig.
Backstage, Kimberly is on the phone. She said that she was still scared. After she hung up, the lights went out. Jim Duggan came in and said it must have been a fuse; Creative Control asked the Filthy Animals where Torrie was, they said if the Animals didn’t send her to the Bosses office, the Animals would be fired.
Backstage, Duggan was looking for fuses. Chavo approached and said he had some fuses.
Berlyn & The Wall defeated Vampiro and The Misfits -Berlyn attacked Vampiro from behind and took the early control. All three Misfits attempted to fight The Wall but he chokeslammed each of them. Vampiro tried to take on both men, but was no match. The Wall attempted to make the cover, but Berlyn yanked him up. The two began to argue. Berlyn tried to make the pin, but The Wall pulled him up. Finally, The Wall chokeslammed Vampiro and got the pin. Berlyn then attacked Vampiro with a chain.
Creative Control escorted Torrie to the Powers That Be Office; Goldberg was shown.
Torrie was told that she would be ref for Kimberly’s match. She was given a black striped bikini, and was told it was all about the ratings.
Sid Vicious and Rick Steiner went to a No Contest -The match was quickly taken out of the ring. They fought into the crowd. Steiner used a chair on Sid. Sid powerbombed Steiner through the stage. He then walked away.
When the show returned, Rick Steiner was being attended to by EMT’s.
Backstage, Mike Tenay interviewed Sid. Sid said he had 2000 ways to put Nash back into retirement, and that the night had just begun.
Jerry Flynn defeated the Barbarian in a fight in the block -The match was fought in the backstage area. The match went back and forth. Flynn nailed the Barbarian with a few kicks in a row, and knocked the Barbarian out.
Asya is shown approaching the ring.
Backstage, Mike Tenay interviewed Chris Benoit. Benoit said he was ready for Hall and that Hall could not stop his destiny.
Asya defeated Kimberly by countout -Torrie, in her striped bikini, was the guest ref. Asya and Torrie went at it before the match started. The Filthy Animals came out with a coat and led Torrie to the back. Kimberly tried to use the distraction to her advantage by placing Asya in a sleeper. David Flair approached the ring in a ref’s shirt. Kimberly left through the crowd. Asya tried to attack Flair but he nailed a suplex on her. The Revolution came to the ring, but Flair nailed Douglas with the crowbar and left through the crowd.
Flowers were delivered to Sting’s lockerroom. They were from the Total Package. Sting told the delivery guy to tell Luger he would knock his teeth out; Luger and Kimberly were disappointed that it did not work; Goldberg was then shown by a water cooler backstage.
Kimberly was shown running from the arena. David Flair followed and said it wouldn’t be that easy six days from now.
Chris Benoit with Bret Hart defeated Scott Hall with Kevin Nash to advance in the Heavyweight Title Tournament -Bret Hart came out with Benoit, which upset the Outsiders. Hall started the match by throwing his toothpick at Benoit. The two circled each other for quite a while. The two exchanged knife edged chops. Benoit hit a snap suplex. Nash then interfered. Hart and Nash then argued back and forth. Hall hit a fallaway slam for a two count. Benoit reversed a side headlock with a side slam. The match went to the outside, and all four men got involved. Hall was in the ring by himself, when Sid entered and delivered a powerbomb. Benoit couldn’t get the pin as Nash again interfered, and as Hall got to his feet he went for something in his tights. Before he could hit Benoit with it, however, Benoit applied the Crippler Crossface and got the submission.

Backstage, Buff Bagwell told Mike Tenay that he would not play dead to Jeff Jarrett
Bret Hart defeated Kidman with The Filthy Animals and Torrie to advance in the Tournament -Rey Mysterio did commentary during the match. Bret took the early control. Bret slingshot Kidman over the top rope on to the floor. During the match, the Outsiders came to the ring area. The started to harass Torrie. The Filthy Animals and the Outsiders went at it outside the ring, while Bret Hart applied the Sharpshooter for the victory.
During the break, The Outsiders destroyed the Filthy Animals
In the kitchen area, Luger and Liz were looking for brownies.
Backstage, Jeff Jarrett told Mike Tenay that it was no coincidence that he had gotten that far.
Jeff Jarrett defeated Buff Bagwell to advance in the Tournament -Buff took early control of the match. Creative Control came to ringside. Creative Control quickly interfered. Buff fought back, nailing one of Creative Control with the guitar. JJ nailed Buff with the stroke, however, and got the pin. The three men then attacked Buff. Dustin Rhodes entered for the save.
Backstage, Kevin Nash is shown; Goldberg is shown; Luger and Liz were putting ex-lax into brownies.
A delivery guy was looking for Sting. Duggan said he would take them to Sting, but he ate the brownies instead.
The Filthy Animals (Konnan & Guerrero) defeated The Revolution (Saturn & Malenko) with Asya in a House of Pain match. -The Revolution kept Konnan out of the cage while they attacked Guerrero. Once they got Guerrero shackled, they began to fight Konnan. As they were shackling Konnan, Shane Douglas and Asya entered, and The Revolution was disqualified. Rey attempted to make the save, but he was hung from the top of the cage by his bad leg. The Revolution then attacked Rey’s knee.
Sting defeated The Total Package with Elizabeth -Sting dominated the early part of the match. He put Luger in the Scorpion Deathlock, but Luger tripped the ref. Elizabeth entered and maced Sting. Luger put Sting in the Torture Rack, but Meng ran in and attacked Luger. He put Luger in the Tongan Death Grip, and put Sting on top of Luger. Sting got the pin.
Backstage, Duggan is leaving the bathroom.
Kevin Nash and Sid Vicious went to a No Contest in a Street Fight. -Sid attacked Nash before he reached the ring. The match went back and forth, until Sid got control. Scott Hall entered. The Outsiders double teamed Sid. Goldberg entered. He speared both Outsiders. Sid attacked Goldberg, however. He was about to use a chair when Bret Hart entered. Goldberg and Hart cleared the ring.
