WWF NEWS/RUMORS
*MICK FOLEY UPDATE
Mick Foley was on TSN's Off The Record and here are some of the more interesting things he went on to say: he is relying far too much on comedy and not enough wrestling, since he's not capable of doing simple moves without a great deal of pain he will be retiring very soon. He doesn't like the way his matches are looking anymore, and when he retires he doesn't want to come out of retirement again later ala Hulk Hogan. He wouldn't mind doing odd jobs in the WWF, like a commissioner role, and he might do a role where he wrestles a handful of matches a year. He also said that he thought the angle with Ross/Oklahoma in WCW was tasteless and tacky. And the Bossman/Big Show angle was really bad, at least until everybody saw Big Show casket surfing and Bossman in crappy cheap cop car straight out of Andy Griffith. Then everybody including Paul Wight and his wife laughed over that, Paul wasn't happy about doing the angle in the first place but he had a laugh over it all after the funeral.
*CHRIS JERICHO IN
Chris Jericho is going to participate in a celebrity Hockey game. As most of you Chris Jericho's dad was a legendary hockey player, who even had his jersey retired on the Madison Square Garden Hall Of Fame. The game takes place tonight, in Madison Square Garden!
*VINCE MCMAHON IN
Vince McMahon had some statements featured in the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly. One of which was regarding the PTC and he said, "That plays right into our hands. We enjoy creating the image that we are the bad boys of television, when obviously we are not. We don't pick fights, they just come along. I guess we're truculent by nature." MiCasa said this was a very positive piece on the WWF.
WCW/NWO news/rumors
*RANDY SAVAGE OUT
According to the RWIN Randy Savage was out filming the WCW movie, Ready 2 Rumble and was called away from the set to take a phone call from the WCW office. He came back and announced that WCW officials have finished trying to negotiate a contract with Randy Savage. This leaves Randy Savage out of WCW's future.
*TORRIE WILSON OUT
Reports are coming out now that Torrie Wilson is leaving WCW. Turns out that during negotiations WCW decided not to meet her asking price and so she decided to walk. She was negotiating a full time contract as she was working on a pay per appearance deal. For now, Torrie Wilson is no longer with WCW.
*SLAP FIGHT!
Well there was a slap fight backstage at Nitro according to Madden & Bob Ryder. The two characters backstage got together in the eating area of the backstage area, and a disagreement was followed by a little slap fight. Well, it wasn't the Nitro Girls. It was DDP & Buff Bagwell! A slap followed up by security pulling them apart. Rumors are going around that Buff was being confronted by DDP for having an affair with her, but those are just rumors right now.
