What A Friend We Have In Jesus

My life started out with just having my family as a support system to help me with any trouble that came my way. As I became older, I realized that at times in my life, the family was just not enough. I then found out that anyone you considered worthy of your trust or confidence soo became considered a "friend". Not knowing the true meaning of friend, I learned the hardway by trial and error. The older I became, the more I wanted out of these so-called friends. Little did I know at the time that they expected even less out of me. To me, my ideas of what friends should be seemed perfectly fine, but I soon learned that I was in fact, weird in my thinking. Quite quickly, I began to see and understand what a true friend was and the expectations I had for a friend and what function they served. I guess I had high expectations that others seemed to find strange. As I attended church more and started understanding more of Christ's words', I starting understanding what a real friend was and should be. I then went on a quest to find my true friend. I didn't find him/her at school. I didn't find him/her at work. I still had trouble finding him/her at church what with me having such funny views. My age finally caught up with my brain and it finally occured to me that the only true friend we all can have asks nothing of us except that we trust in Him. He is always available for anyone and doesn't have to have an appointment to see him. He lives for us..with us..through us. Do you have a true friend? Do you need a friend like the one I described above? Email me if you would like some more information on who this wonderful friend is that I have found and how you can come to know Him too.

What is a friend?
Life is a canvas that God painted for us

What if God couldn't take the time to bless us today because we couldn't take the time to thank Him yesterday? What if God decided to stop leading us tomorrow because we did not follow Him today? What if we never saw another flower bloom because we grumbled when God sent the rain? What if God didn't walk with us today because we failed to recognize it as His day? What if God took away the Bible tomorrow because we would not read it today? What if God took away His message because we failed to listen to His messenger? What if the door of the church was closed because we did not open the door of our heart? What if God stopped loving and caring for us because we failed to love and care for others? What if God would not hear us today because we would not listen to Him yesterday? What if God answered our prayers the way we answer His call for service? What if God met our needs the way we give Him our lives??? What if we failed to pass this on?
CAN YOU AFFORD TO WAIT AND FIND THIS OUT?
