We must realize that there is a price to be paid for sin. (Romans 6: 23) For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
We must believe that Jesus Christ paid the price for us. (Romans 5: 8-9) But God commended his love towards us in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.
We must confess the Lord Jesus Christ. (Romans 10: 9, 10, 13) If thou will believe in thine heart the Lord Jesus and confess with thy mouth that God has raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. (John 3:16) For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
We must pray a prayer of repentance and ask God for salvation through the name of his Son, Jesus Christ. Read this prayer and see if it says what you want to say to God.
Dear Lord, I believe that Jesus is your only begotten Son, and that he died on the cross for my sins and was raised from the dead. I know I have sinned and need forgiveness. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive You as my Savior and Lord. Cleanse me from all unrighteousness by His precious blood. Thank you for saving me.
