 | Matt bats right and plays third base and pitcher. While his batting average is .367 this season, his on base percentage is closer to .535 and he is perfect on the base paths. Defensively, his ERA is 1.4 and he has made numerous outs at both third and pitcher. He earned his first game ball against the Cardinals for his pitching. He had a perfect game after two innings in the team's first win. His second ball was earned in a game against the Reds where he hit a triple and a double, batting in 2 runs. His third game ball against the Gallo Reds when he pitched in a winning effort with only 1 earned run. |
