Cherokee

Cherokee is a 1999 stallion sired by APHA "SUMMER N TE" and out of the AQHA mare "Loafin Patsy"

We used him as our herd sire for a few years and he made some nice babies for us.

Cherokee's first offspring was born April 13, 2003 out of a buckskin mare named " TI ". It's a filly and a perfectly marked paint. The baby is a very friendly and inquisitive little girl and we have named her "Snickers".

Snickers has her own webpage to show off. You can see more of her there:

Snickers & Almond Joy

In 2004, Ti and Cherokee produced a solid buckskin filly named "Cinco De Mayo". She was sold as a weanling to a long time friend here in the Waller area.

TI & Cherokee produced another pinto filly out of TI in 2005. This one is bay and white just like Snickers but darker than big sis. The kids named her Almond Joy and she has been sold to some nice folks on the South side of Houston.

Cherokee was bred to my Grullo mare ~ Shade, and the foal was born in April of 2006. Although my fingers were crossed for a Grullo & white baby, they produced a solid black filly that was named Pepper.

Pepper was given to my next door neighbor and is doing great for her.

Cherokee was also bred to Lady, our sorrel & white filly and she foaled her first baby in May 2006. It's a sorrel & white filly with lots and lots of white!
