Jirehs Whitegoldstar
"Popcorn"
This is our herd sire. He is registered with PtHA Pony studbook, and as a half-Welsh with the Welsh Pony and Cob Society of America. He is perlino tovero, and has started of very colorfully as a sport pony sire. He is sired by Barr Silver Star of Texas (who goes back to Smoke Tree Silver Dragon and Sleight of Hand, both Welsh Section B Legion Of Merit sires) a lovely, gentle and talented palomino roan section A Welsh stallion, and out of a beautiful smokey black tovero PtHA Hunter Type pony mare. Popcorn was bred by Jennifer carter of Jireh Welsh Ponies of Willis, Texas. As his parents and siblings were, he was bred and raised to be be a superior companion, level-headed and dutiful, with his pleasant demeanor and friendly personality "almost" eclipsing his other virtues. He and his family have all been handled and enjoyed by children in the Carter's family and riding school.
Popcorn stood his first three seasons at Kaleidoscope Farm in Eubank, KY, owned by Sharon Michael, where he was used with great success in siring beautifully colored sport pony foals that show tremendous athletic performance potential. He came home for one season and went back to Kaleidoscope again for another two breeding seasons. Click on the foal collage below to be linked to Kaleidoscope's website.
He returns to our farm summer 2010, at which time he will be offered to select outside mares.
His 2010 stud fee is
$350
Which includes a $150 booking fee
