I know this pain.
How many times have I tried to turn this love around?
I never imagined you could blow my theory apart.
I should have known it from the very start.
I had a fools confidence that the world had no boundaries.
I thought all would be right with my instincts and sense.
You are part of me !
You’ll never know even when you’re gone.
I’ll never really let you go !
Our souls are both painted in shades of blue.
We are kindred spirits - me and you!
No matter what you do or you may say
I will always love you anyway
I see red when you are in danger
Keep me in your heart - I am no stranger
While you struggle, growing and feeling
My love and heart , I’ll work on healing
There are some things in life
That do not go the way we plan
There are many mysteries to life
You’re too young to understand
I look into your eyes - there’s a distant light
I refuse to not struggle, to not fight
Looking back through the years
Recalling all the pain and tears
I see the years all passing by
So much to learn - so much to try.
Remember
Love doesn’t ask why !
It just is - don’t pass it by !

Dreams I lost along the way
