About Me...

Hi, there! Thanks for taking an interest.

I just graduated from UT Austin in May 1997 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. While I was there, I worked my way through college and also volunteered with Wildlife Rescue. I love animals, and you can see some of my favorite pics of my ducks and cat in my critters site! I also enjoy creating new products (yeah, that's the NERD in me...), which could be what drove me to mechanical engineering. I can spend DAYS at a time sketching new stuff or product improvements, and not get a wink of sleep the whole time!

While I was in Austin I also enjoyed fencing and archery, and took a ballroom dance class--that was FUN! The best job I had was working for the Physics Lecture Demonstrations Office at UT for a year. We demonstrated all kinds of physical phenomena to the classes at UT, and it made physics really fun (for us as well as the students!). If you ever get the chance, go to a Physics Circus. You will be having such a good time you won't realize you are learning!!

Since I have moved from Austin to Lufkin, I spend most of my free time either with my critters OR online. I've met some really nice people in the Austin chat room, and you can view a list of their websites in my friends page!

By the way, I am a HUGE GREEN BAY fan!! I'm glad they finally offered stock to the general public again!! Got some coming to me...
