The Storm
Part 2
By Shery Butler
"Hey Dawson," said Joey running inside Capeside High escaping from the rain. "Man, these storms just keep coming."
"Tell me about it." said Dawson.
"Hi Joey." said Andie. "Well, if it isn't Capeside's most talked about couple, Pacey and Andie."
"I think what Joey means is hi." said Dawson.
"Joey, just because your jealous that Andie snagged me before you doesn't mean you have to such a obnoxious pig." said Pacey.
"Bite me. Your the only pig here."
"Get a grip."
"Shut Up!"
"Why don't you try!"
"Go to hell!"
"Actually it's quite lovely thanks!"
"Why?"
"Because your not there!"
Joey and Pacey sparred as Dawson and Andie walked down the hallway unnoticed.
"Andie?"
"Dawson?"
asked Joey and Pacey.
"See what you did!"
"See what I did?!? Look what you did!"
"Whatever!"
Next day.......
"We have a series of severe thunderstorms approaching Capeside tomorrow which will last over the weekend. But, now on to international weather. A super cell is hovering over Oklahoma on a North Eastern course. This cell should pass over Tornado Alley, but should diminish or weaken by the time it reaches Capeside. Now on to News. Bob." said the new weather anchor.
"Wonderful. Storms for the weekend. And worst of all a super cell is heading our way.!" complained Andie to Pacey.
"Don's worry Sweetie, you heard the anchor, it should diminish or weaken."
"That's what they always say. My friend back in Rhode Island was in Kansas for her cousin's wedding, and the weather report said clear skies all night and day. But, around 3:00 pm about six funnel clouds appeared. Two of them touched down. Yet, it wasn't reported till about 2 minutes before the twisters touched down. You can't explain it, you can't predict it. My friend's cousin's sister was killed. She was sucked into the vortex."
"Whoa. I didn't know you knew so much about twisters. Well, that's a good thing. You can protect me."
"It's not funny. Were in real danger here!"
"It's okay. We'll be all right." said Pacey not exactly sure of what he was saying.
