L.C. Kellis
KELLIS, L. C. REVEREND, (Plot 2; Evergreen Cemetery), Born: November 03, 1846. Deceased: August 22, 1903. Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America, in November, 1864 and served “Honorably”, as a “Private” in Company “H”, “Yeager’s Regiment” “Mississippi Cavalry”, C.S.A. He was at his time of enlistment a resident of Macon, Mississippi. He was “Honorably” discharged from said Confederate service on the 20th day of June, 1865, by “Parole”. At which time he held the rank of “Private”. (Obtained from “Southern Cross of Honor” application…his writing).
