J.J. Windham
WINDHAM, J. J., (Plot 3; Evergreen Cemetery), Born: 1842. Deceased: 1912. Enlisted in the service of the Confederate States of America, on the 13th day of March, 1862, and served “Honorably” as a “Private” in Company “K”, 33rd Regiment “Alabama Infantry”, C.S.A. He was at his time of enlistment a resident of Clintonville, Coffee County, Alabama. He was “Honorably” discharged from said Confederate service in July, 1864, by General Johnson. At which time he held the rank of “Private”. (Obtained from “Southern Cross of Honor” application…his writing). Wife: Mary Windham (Plot 3)
