Jessie was the mother of Francis Marion SCOTT and wife of John Anderson SCOTT. She was 33 years old when Francis was born in 1889 and he was her fifth child according to the birth record. One of Francis' children was named for her but the child died of diptheria at the age of 8 years. The 1920 census shows her living in Hudson, New Mexico with her husband. Her sons Francis & Elmer Earl were also living in New Mexico according to the 1920 census.
