Abbie “Our Princess” Dewees Abigail Lee Dewees, 17, of The Woodlands went home to be with her Lord on March 16, 1999. Abbie, as she was known, will be dearly missed by her family and many friends. She was a student at The Woodlands High School and was involved in many school activities. Abbie was born January 7, 1982 in Conroe, Texas to her parents, Clay and Pam Dewees of The Woodlands, Texas and is survived by sister, Courtney Dewees of The Woodlands; grandparents, Nelson and Dorothy Hall of Lubbock, Texas; grandmother, Dale Dewees of Conroe; grandfather Bert Dewees and wife Judi of Mt. Vernon, Missouri; Aunt and Uncle, Jennifer and Mark Faris of Maryland; and cousins, Whit and Taylor Faris of Maryland.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 20, 1999 at 1:00 p.m. in The Woodlands High School Gym, located on Research Forest Dr. in The Woodlands, Texas. Interment will follow in Forest Park Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chris Coxon, Taylor Payne, David Binford, Curtis Summers, Clint Howern, and Chance Mock. Family will receive friends from 5-9 p.m. Friday evening in Forest Park Funeral Home, located at 18000 I-45 South in The Woodlands.
