Miss Arkansas / MIss America Organization
Miss Lake Dardanelle, Brandy Rhodes, won Miss Arkansas as well as Prelim Swim Suit Award. Rhodes is twenty two and a student at the University of the Ozarks. Her talent was Dance to Rhapsody In Blue. The new Miss Arkansas's platform is Cancer/Prevention and Detection.Miss Rhodes win was a true upset, as the expected returning Kerry Jucas, who was first runner up last year, was expected to win. Jucas was first runner up again as Miss Southern Arkansas and she was a double prelim winner.
Second runner up: Brandi Watkins, Miss Conway. Third runner up: Sara Harris, Miss White River. Fourth runner up: Roxie Hannah.
