This great moment occurs before the film proper even starts. The intro sequence shows scenes of real people playing hoops in a variety of settings, and on an urban playground in a game of 1-on-1, major facial surgery is witnessed. Our victim is beaten off the dribble from the left wing by his opponent, who now has a clear path to the hoop. Does he softly lay it up off the board? No. Finger roll? No. Go straight up for the jam? Oh no no no. Instead, the assailant jumps and spins 180 degrees in the air while flying under the rim, ramming it down hard in the face of the victim, who arrives too late for his defensive efforts to do anything whatsoever. He now has to live with this embarassment as the film goes on worldwide cinema release. In addition, the number of home copies on video tape and DVD will see much rewind action for many, many years to come. When this guy has children, they'll ask "Daddy, why didn't you foul the shit out of him?" Nasty.
