One of the hardest things I've ever had to do was to decide when it was time to "help" Kitty Man pass on. His heart and soul was soaring but his little body was closing down system by system. To some people pets are just that - PETS... To me they are much more - they are friends and yes, even children. They offer love unconditonally and expect nothing in return. Loosing him hurt just like loosing a human family member, and it still hurts. As I typed The Rainbow Bridge and If It Is To Be I still got teary eyed. I just wish I could've been more aware and supportive when Mom was faced with doing the same thing for Bridgette. Over the past several years I have came across the following and hopefully it will be able to help others who have had to, or will be having to, face this same situation.
I'd like to give a special thank you to Jenna Jangula for allowing me to use some of her wonderful poems on my site.
