Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold is an updated version of Street Fighter Alpha 2. It was released in late 1996. Capcom added several new modes of play in Alpha 2 Gold. This game was released as part of the Street Fighter Collection for the Playstation and Saturn. The collection also includes Super Street Fighter 2 and Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo. It includes all the characters that had been left out of the original Playstation version of Alpha 2, such as Evil Ryu. It also has Cammy as a playable character for the first time in the Alpha series. One of my favorite things about Alpha 2 Gold is the stages, almost every stage is memorable. I really think Alpha 3's stages are relatively boring compared to Alpha 2's. The only Street Fighter that has more memorable stages than Alpha 2 Gold is Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo.
