This is a Skylab photo of what is known as a solar prominence. It is an ultraviolet image taken on December 14, 1973. Looks like a couple of devils, (one devil with some type of pitchfork?) riding a Dragon that is spitting out fire doesn't it?
This picture was taken by the astronauts on the Skylab space station. It is located on page 161 in the book entitled "A NEW SUN The Solar Results from Skylab" by John A. Eddy.
