My beautiful child my precious one
How I wanted to see you shine in the sun
To hear you laugh and watch you play
To sing and dance in the rain
My precious child these things I do miss
I take comfort in the fact and try to remember this
Someday we will be together someday
When I come Home
Then my sweet child it is you I will hold
Close to my heart and tight in my arms
Then I will see you shine in the sun
I will hear you laugh and watch you play
Together we will sing and dance in the rain
We will walk down the streets of gold
Forever in my arms forever to hold

The Lord Said To Me
The decisions I make,
In my so called life,
Bring forth with each new day,
Trial and Strife,
I fight to control every twist and turn,
All the while I hear a voice asking me,
"My child when will you learn?"
I need not wonder whose voice I hear,
For it is my Heavenly Father,
Whispering in my ear,
Falling to my knees I ask Him," Why? "
"No matter what I do,
No matter what I try,
Crumbles to pieces in front of my eyes?"
I cry out to my Father, "Please show me the way,
Why must I suffer these things with each new day?"
His explanation is simple
As His words grip my soul
"For my child of your own life,
You have no control,"
"Cast your cares upon me,
Submit to my ways,
I will bring you comfort and joy,
For the rest of your days."
Glorify my name,
Worship only me,
Do not fall victim to what the world sees."
"As the desires of your flesh,
Continue to make you weak,
Test you I will,
Until I am all you seek."
I could ask Him why,
But I already understand,
I am not here for me,
But to fulfill the Lord's plan.
My trials and tribulations,
Are given to me from above,
Although sometimes they are harsh,
They come out of love.
It's hard to give the Lord thanks,
When my life starts to fall apart,
The tests are not given to hurt me,
But to strengthen my mind, soul and heart.
With each new trial,
I know I must face,
I try to remember,
Those words of Grace,
"Cast your cares upon me,
I will take the burden from you,
Have faith in Me and I will strengthen you."
"If I cared enough to put the flowers on the
mountain, I knew you could not see,
Then how much more my child,
Do I love Thee?"
