POEMS BY LACYDAY
Your Angel
An angel saw you sleeping,
He touched your heart with gold,
He whispered in your ear tonight,
A story, I am told.
~
He rested on your pillow,
And sang you something sweet,
He settled your uneasiness,
And tucked you in to sleep.
~
I heard the angels calling,
God made the final plea,
He lifted up your spirit,
And finally set you free.
~
I saw the angel leaving,
And when he said, "Good-bye,"
I knew that you were safely home,
In Heaven's lullaby.

Bryan's Song
We hear it in the melodies,
Heaven's choir now sings...
The angels all now gather...
While Bryan gets his wings.
Red hair adorns his head,
Freckles on his face...
His youth forever glowing...
His halo now in place.
Another angel now in Heaven,
Little Bryan smiles with pride...
He sits upon the lap of God...
With Jesus by his side.
