Creation of life is truly a miracle,
The continuance of everlasting love.
Feeling life grow inside you
Is startling at first.
Yet, day by day,
It becomes so natural; so beautiful.
As time continues you cherish
Every movement of that "little being."
Finally, through a little fear
And a little pain,
It bursts forth into the world
Leaving you only with abounding joy.
Through tears of relief, you'll see
Your child; perfect in every way.
And with a silent prayer,
Start down the road of motherhood.
"As a mother comforts her child, so will I comfort you.." Isaiah 66:13
