Christmas At Our House
O HOLY NIGHT
These nativity decorations were designed by Victoria, our daughter. Family members provided the labor including painting and adding the lights. It took long hours of work, but everyone was pleased with the results. Since the photo was taken, Victoria has added "the three wise men" and beautiful angels. She is always coming up with new ideas, and we look forward to each new endeavor.
The handmade nativity graces the front of our home at Christmas time. We put up decorations the day after Thanksgiving, and usually leave them up until New Year's Day. It's a nice long time to enjoy our decorations. The other unique arrangement in our home is our Christmas Village. It was started by Jason and has been added to by other family members each year. It has grown to be a pretty large village! In 1997, we added soft illumination. The skating rink plays lovely Christmas carols as the skaters glide on the sparkling ice.

The handmade decorations for our family tree were made by my sweet Mother. Many hours of tedious sewing (by hand) were required to make these family heirlooms. Our tree is aglow with love, and our outdoor scene glows with love and joyous celebration for the sweet baby Jesus.
Below is Mr. and Mrs. Claus, with Santa wearing his favorite Christmas shirt. Mrs. Claus is not that fond of the shirt, however!!!!
These stocking stuffers were a big hit! Can you imagine 4 frogs "croaking" jingle bells at the same time???
