Jobs in Osage County

We need a Casino/Resort Hotel with a golf course in the Heart of Osage County. It needs to be located on a beautiful parcel of restricted property in close proximity to the three Villages. The Bartlesville Casino is an excellent example of a building in harmony with the incredible views around it. This will provide a major employer for the county and create a new revenue stream for our nation for years to come.

We own 185 acres of restricted land only 3 miles South of Pawhuska. This would be the ideal site for the Casino/Resort Hotel. There is a beautiful old golf course in Pawhuska located about 3 miles away sitting vacant and unused. It could be purchased and remodeled to provide recreation for our guests. This is exactly what the Quapaw tribe did and they are very successful. Their golf course was built in the 1970's and is also about three miles from their casino.

There is another newer golf course in Fairfax that is only about a 20 minute drive from our 185 acres of restricted property south of Pawhuska. We could offer a shuttle service from our new casino to this golf course, giving our guests a choice of 2 courses to play. While there are 3 casinos with golf courses in Oklahoma at this time, we would be the only 1 with immediate access to 2.

More Osage live in this area than anywhere else on earth. We cannot sit back and watch the infrastructure crumble and our people suffer with high unemployment and poverty. If we do not invest in the Heart of the Osage things will not change for them. It is time to make this bold step to make the lives of our people there better.

When I was up in the Osage last week (2-27-2012) we drove by the 185 acres of restricted property that the Nation owns about 4 miles south of Pawhuska on Hwy 99. It is perfect for a Hotel /Casino, with lots hwy frontage and just a short slope rising from the hwy in the west to a slight elevation on the eastern boundary. It has been cleared except for a few trees and is ready to be developed. There are beautiful Osage Hills views from the back of the property and a pumping well just inside the fence. Hominy is just down the road about 15 mines, Barnsda1l about 11 miles and there is a small country road from Gray Horse/ Fairfax that cuts across to 99 close by. Building a casino/ hotel on this property and partnering with the existing golf courses in the area to add entertainment value would create hundreds of jobs in the Heart of the Osage and revitalize the economies of all the local towns. This is where we need to invest our money.
