*** THE JIM RYAN BAND IS ROLLING ACROSS TEXAS *** The Jim Ryan Band, one of Texas best, and most versatile bands is playing dances,weddings, and parties with a great line up that includes new, as well as former members. After retiring from thirty years of teaching music in the Northeast ISD, Jim is concentrating on producing quality entertainment for special events. In his forty four year career as a bass player, and lead vocalist, he has performed with countless groups in a myriad of styles, earning both a Bachelor degree in music from Incarnate Word,and a Masters in music from UTSA along the way. The band specializes in classic rock, and classic country, but also offers an extensive lists of older, and newer music in a myriad of styles. Recent clients include, The Junior League, the K Supper Club, the Plaza Club, and Austin Street Live, The Silver Fox, Texas 46, and The Long Branch Saloon in Boerne. The Jim Ryan Band was featured at "The New World Wine, and Food Tasting Gala". "This Black Tie" event was held at the new Grand Hyatt Hotel in the Texas ballroom. The dance light was on at the Plaza Club on February14th for the annual Valentine Dinner Dance. The floor was be full of dancing feet, and happy couples.
