I ate a lar today at lunch
It was quite good, I have to say!
I was hesitant to try it
Until Meryl Streep endorsed it

She said she eats it all the time
She likes it on apples and pears
In fact, she likes to make her own
She wonders why it should be banned

I bought a gun the other day
At Kmart; it's an M-16!
I was hesitant to buy it
'Til Rosie O. said, "Buy one now!"

She says they're extremely handy
She wants to start a militia
And wipe out all those "extremist
Childkillers in the NRA!"
