Peggy was born and raised in Jackson, Mississippi where she attended high school and graduated from junior college. She met and married her husband in 1972. The family moved to Texas in 1980 where she was able to stay at home with their two children, Pepper and Chris. In 1987 she took a job at an insurance company in Ft. Worth where she stayed until the company out of state in 1997. Her interest in acting began when she and her husband joined their first Old West reenactment team. She is currently a vital part of CATTSKILL PRODUCTIONS. She not only designs and makes all of the costumes for their original productions, she is also assistant director, write, camera person and general flunky, doing all of the nasty jobs involved in the production of a video.

Has been active as a writer and performer in three Old West reenactment groups since 1998. Is currently performing with "THE OVER THE HILL GANG", a group founded by her and her husband.
