Born in Oakland, CA on Christmas Eve in 1952, Richard grew up in a military family traveling across the country and spending several years in Puerto Rico. When his father left the service they settled in Mississippi where he met and married his wife Peggy in 1972. Moving to Texas in 1980 he persued his career as an architectural designer. His interest in film began when he worked as an extra on the Oliver Stone film BORN ON THE FOURTH OF JULY. He also worked on the film J.F.K. Since then he has performed with three different Old West reenactment groups and can be seen in several local commercials.
