DR. LUNA'S PAGE

Welcome! Hello there and welcome to my home away from home. Like the new title of the site, for all you Carroll folk. I am orginally from Harlingen now living in Corpus Christi. I am senior at Texas A&M University Corpus Christi majoring in music education. I have devoted my life to my drums and to anything that has to do with percussion, if its buying a new drum at a pawn shop to buying method books off ebay. =) Here is a pic of my gf, Amber. But on the side to support those habits I work at the University Center as a Student Manager of Operations. I am the percussion consultant at Baker Middle School, Elliot Grant Middle School as well as Tom Browne Middle School. I am the percussion instructor at Mary Carroll High School. The past two summers I marched snare with the Legend of Texas Drum & Bugle Corps from Lubbock, Texas where I was center snare as well as corps commander. I am a member of Corpus Christi Municipal Band, Corpus Christi Wind Symphony, Texas Band Masters Association (TBA) , Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA), Percussive Arts Society (PAS), brother of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia fraternity at Del Mar College as well as Principal Percussionist for the Texas A&M University Corpus Christi Concert Band. I was the 2001 Remo PASIC Scholarship winner. Here are a couple pictures to check out from PASIC 2001 in Nashville, Tennessee. If you didn't get the joke, the color of my drumset is Amber Mist. =)
