Important accomplishments:
- My second novel won the 1990 National Romance
Novel of the Year, awarded by National Press Women.
- One of my short stories, ONE MAN'S TRASH, was
a 1986 Hemingway Short Story Competition finalist.
- My first book with Berkley went into second
printing.
- The second one, BECKONING SHORE, made Ingram's
top 50 bestselling romance list, then was nominated for 1997 Best
Americana Historical of the Year by Romantic Times reviewers.
- SMALL BLESSINGS, my first inspirational
romance from Barbour Publishing was voted one of the top ten
historicals by their Reader Poll.
- My advice on plotting can be found in
various writers magazines, particularly the 1996 ROMANCE WRITER'S
SOURCEBOOK, published by Writer's Digest.
- American Writers' Review interviewed me in
their May '97 issue regarding my technique for developing
character substance/internal character growth.
- I'm listed in several collections about
writers such as Contemporary Authors and International Who's Who
In Writers.
