United States Waterpolo

Anyone who is interested in waterpolo should become a member of USWP. If you are interested in becoming a member, read the following benefits information and then download the registration form that follows.

Membership Benefits

• USWP membership card
• USWP decal to proudly display your affiliation with the association
• Subscription to Water Polo Scoreboard, the official publication of water polo in the United States
• Insurance coverage at sanctioned practices and events
• The opportunity to build lifetime friendships through participation in a team sport
• Competition and instruction through more than 400 registered clubs and their club programs
• Opportunity to attend USWP-sponsored camps and instructional clinics
• Coach and referee certification

Membership Levels

Life Member - Individual Members who may participate in any USWP sanctioned practice or event, with membership valid throughout the individual's lifetime. Upgrading to another level can be completed by paying the yearly special assessment fee. This level is also open to the general public and members of the water polo community who serve in administrative and support capacities to further promote United States Water Polo.

Basic Athlete - Individual Members who are in good standing and are eligible to participate in any USWP sanctioned practice or event.

Masters Athlete - Individual Members age thirty (30) and over who are in good standing and are eligible to participate in any USWP sanctioned practice or event.

Three-Year Athlete - Individual Members who are in good standing and are eligible to participate in any USWP sanctioned practice or event for a three year period.

Coach - Individual Members who coach for a member club, educational institution or organization in any USWP sanctioned practice or event.

Referee - Individual Members who coach and or referee in any USWP sanctioned practice or event.

Individual - Specific Members who are not Athlete, Coach or Referee members but are interested in the purpose and programs of USWP as a supporting member.

Trial Athlete - A one-time, four month membership offered to encourage participation in the sport of water polo. Entitles the individual to participate in any USWP sanctioned practice or event.
