Signs of vertical rotation in the inflow
The very lowest "tail" did not seem to show any rotation at the time of the shot, but was a little harder to see details on. The upper feature was rotating from the lower level slightly towards the east then up and over and away to the west then down. This went on for some time as the section filled in with cloud features. I haven't really ever seen anything quite at this level before. I wonder if this is the "horizontal" vortex that may be knocked into a vertical plane by some event hence into at least a rotating wall cloud if not a tornado. It persisted for some minutes.
Sorry for the poor drawing.
