Sorry, no pictures.

See the NWS link for May 2 through 5 for more information about the weather.

The team was activated for storms in the southwestern portions of the area.  After picking up my trainee, Colton Ancell, I headed southwest.  After getting a ways west the primary concern was for a cell near Sundown, that was producing reports of golfball sized hail.  I headed northwest towards the area, catching up to one or two other spotters as we approached the storm.  It seemed somewhat high based, though it was producing quite a bit of visible precipitation.  As there were other spotters to the east of the storm we stayed back and then moved cautiously north toward Levelland watching for signs of large hail.  There was some signs along the roads and we were hit by marginally severe hail a few times.  Reaching TX 114, we decided to head east.  The storm maintained it's motion and I believe was continuously warned for as it moved across Hockley county.  We chose to head north on FM 168 to keep up with it and to support another spotter out to the northeast.  Other than the hail, little else seemed to be occurring with the storm.  We observed it until it moved north of Shallowater, then called it a day.  We headed south on FM 179 to home.
The storm continued its hail production as it moved into Hale county.
