Larry and Mary Reep's "GRIM REEPER" Outlaw Fuel Altered

TEAM INFORMATION:

Driver Mary Reep
Team Bio - Larry & Mary Reep's "Grim Reeper" has had many looks and raced in many classes in the past five decades that Larry has been racing with the "Grim Reeper" title. With the formation of the Outlaw Fuel Altered series in 1999, the couple decided to build and race an outlaw fuel altered where they won the 2001 Outlaw Fuel Altered Champion.

In 2009, Mary assumed the driving responsibilities as Larry transitioned to his role of mad professor and tuner. The 2009 season was one of car consistency with an overall finish of #4 in the points. 2010 was a year of very highs and very lows. Mary experienced her first fuel fire and engine explosion putting the team on the sidelines for the better part of the year. To wrap up the season, Mary drove to a 3.99 pass. The 3 second club now had their first female and married couple.

2010 and 2011 brought many positive changes in crew and tune-ups to this long standing team. Mary piloted the car for several 4.0 runs and close finishes but missing her ultimate first win. The last race in San Antonio, Mary had the ride of a lifetime by qualifying with a 3.90/192 mph. She won her round of elimination with a 3.95 @ 191 and the best light of her career, .002.

In 2012, Mary posted two strong runner-up finishes and was the number one qualifier at Texas Raceway. Mary clicked off a career best 3.86 at 179 mph in the "Grim Reeper" proving she can run with the big boys of the Outlaw Fuel Altered Association! The 2013 season holds high hopes for the team as Mary looks to clinch her first OFAA series victory and also plans to make the trip to the World Fuel Altered Nationals in Eddyville, Iowa this August.
